Dispatch confirms pieces, dimensions, weight, access, the driver, and the delivery commitment before acceptance. The shipment then moves direct in the best-fit Sprinter or Dry Box Truck.
The calls that start a hot shot are rarely calm ones: the driver fell off, the shipment missed its cutoff, the freight just released and the warehouse closes in three hours. What the forwarder needs in that moment is a fast, honest answer — can a truck be committed, and by when.
